한국기독교교회협의회는 중앙정보부의 고문과 사건 조작을 엄중히 항의한다. 그리고 이 나라가 위협과 폭력, 고문과 공포가 없는 나라로 개혁되도록 기도하고 행동할 것을 밝힌다. 당국은 솔선해서 고문의 명령자와 당사자를 의법조처하기를 바란다. 그리고 고문으로 조작된 기소는 무효임을 선언하고 피고인을 전원 즉각 석방해야 할 것이다.
